The Three Food Memories podcast is an exploration of society, culture and social causes - posing fundamental questions through the lens of food memories. The podcast had been in market for 2 years, boasting high profile guests and entertaining interviews hosted by food impresario Savva Savas. Unfortunately, the podcast had not achieved a level of notoriety or awareness envisaged. Savva Savas was looking for new strategies and solutions to help grow his audience significantly whilst operating in a highly competitive and saturated market. Reservoir Partners was engaged to develop a 3 year consumer and B2B marketing and business strategy to grow audience, brand awareness, Savva’s media profile and podcast downloads whilst supporting revenue, profitability and market share objectives.

Solution
To kick the project off we conducted a brand, business and communications audit bringing the team together in a workshop to get crystal clear on critical business issues, opportunities, consumer insights and the competitor landscape to help shape the 3 years strategy. We identified primary and secondary audiences, barriers to growth and recommended a route to market that would take the brand from local to international audiences including guest identification, approach and engagement strategies. As part of the 3 year program we developed the new Three Food Memories brand position, unique selling proposition, mission statement and key messages that would underpin all comms and investment. As part of the year one operating plan and launch strategy, we delivered Three Food Memories new brand, logo, tag-line and visual identity (brand kit), new website and supporting social, PR and live events strategy, leveraging a mix of owned, earned and bought media. We supported the team identifying and procuring services and managed delivery of the project on time and within budget.

Result
Three Food Memories was launched in late Feb 2024 to a packed media event in partnership with The Australian Chamber Orchestra. We wish Savva Savas and the team at Three Food Memories every possible success as they take the new Three Food Memories brand and offer to market.
