Opportunity
Eira is a relatively new premium mineral water brand bottled at the source in Norway. Eira is Michelin’s global mineral water partner and is served at many of the worlds most recognised fine dining restaurants having achieved significant inroads across Europe, North America, Asia and Middle East markets. Eira was looking to expand its global footprint and identified Australia as a key market, however needed support developing an Australian business plan to support their growth aspirations.

Solution
Reservoir Partners was engaged to interrogate, identify and develop a route to market strategy and a detailed operating and financial plan to launch, grow and deliver in-market profitability within 3 years. As part of the project we conducted category, channel and competitor analysis that allowed us to develop a customer acquisition strategy spanning fine dining, five-star hotel and grocery / retail, supported by consumer, b2b marketing and brand building investment. Our commercial recommendation included 3 year business plan, P&L analysis, category consumptions analysis, partnerships and value chain analysis - expenses, operations, marketing and product analysis including CIF, WS price and margin scenarios, whilst quantifying operations including warehousing, freight and fulfilment.

Result
Our strategic model and business plan was highly regarded by Eira’s CEO and was presented to the board for consideration and investment.
